Should America, the UK, the west pressure Muslim nations to have freedom of religion ?
I live in America where I can practice my religion as I please(which is, ironically impossible in every Muslim country except for Yemen where my sect, the Zaidyyah sect is dominant). So Muslims can practice their faith in the west without any restrictions, yet in Muslim nations, Christians and Jews(and Baha'is and others) cannot practice in freedom or share their religion. Should not the US government pressure the Saudis ? The Saudis give out thousands of copies of the quran in the US without any problem, yetnot a single bible is allowed to come into Saudi Arabia ?

Did Jesus do that? Did Jesus carry the sword to convert others? Did he not rebuke his disciples for wishing fire to consume unbelievers?

They shouln't need to pressure, it is up to the people to choose their religion, it isn't their religion if they don't believe in it, they must accept their own faith.

That's what makes this country so great. Freedom. But, we don't have a right to pressure anyone into anything like that as far as religion goes.

Freedom of religion in Muslim nations will happen when the Pope announces that same sex marriages and abortion is all right.

Stay in your country, enjoy what you get there. They do not want to be like you so they are free not to be like you. This is freedom too. Their freedom to govern the way they want. Don't play the world police. It is better for world peace.

Yes but not just the Saudis. Any nation where there is not religious freedom. This should be a God given right not just a political right. Everyone should have a right to practice their religion without oppression. If I were President then I'd tell the Saudis they can't push their propaganda if we can't bring Bibles into their country.

Prove to me that what you are saying is true. Show me where you found this information. Islamic nations do have other religions, however they are the minority. There are churches of all faiths in Morocco, which is an Islamic nation.

I don't blame you for asking this question because you are shi'a. The same question can be asked to Christians can they accept building a mosque near Vatican? Don't compare USA with Saudi Arabia because it is not apple to apple! Saudi Arabia is the center of Islam and prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recommended that Arabian peninsula shall not have two religions.

Please do not pretend that you do not know that the West or Western influence have always pressured Muslims to accept forced conversion into Christianity and into Democracy? Saidi Arabia is not an Islamic State and the 1000's of copies of the Quran are intended to produce an un-Islamic version to appease Christianity and the West and are therefore null and void and represent a King James Biblical Version of Quran and seek to form an acceptable form of the Bahai faith as the Islam of the West or Chrislamity, a Jesus form of Islam. Islam is not the Muslim countries. Islam is Allah, the Only True God, and the present Terrorists' War against Islam is doomed to failure as others have been, but the Signs from Allah this time show a worse result than the drowning of Pharaoh and his army for the Coalition of the willing.

Your ideas are good. But, America does not have the right to impose on another country's religious ideas. I know Bush would like to----everyone to follow his Evangelical Christianity. But, it is not something we should get involved in.

Malaysia is a Muslim nation (or at least a Muslim majority nation) and people of all faiths get to practice their religion as they wish. This applies to many other Muslim nations too. You should travel more.
