diplomacy question...?
my friend's father is a diplomat from yemen and sadly he got shot and he's in a coma. my friend is leaving tomorrow to yemen to go see him. my questions are: 1] her diplomacy period in the US is over, can she come back to live very soon? 2] if her dad dies (hopefully not) is her family still considered "diplomat" 3] is her dad suppose to come to the US for treatment?

1) No. Once her diplomatic visa is up, she cannot come back to the US. 2) No. Her diplomatic status is dependant on being a family member of a diplomat. If the diplomat leaves the country permanently, so must his relatives. 3) Treatment in the US might be an option, but that depends very much on whether your friend's father is in a state in which he can be taken anywhere. It is quite a journey from Yemen to the US and if he is in a coma, I doubt that it would be a very good idea putting him on a plane.
